District Parent Council

The Boulder Valley District Parent Council (DPC) provides a monthly forum and a lively exchange of ideas for all the schools in the Boulder Valley School District.

The DPC is made up of one representative from every school in the district. Beth Perez is the Birch Elementary District Parent Council representatives. DPC meets once a month during the school year with the Superintendent of Schools and discuss and examine timely and relevant topics that effect the students and schools of the district.

The meetings are open to the public and DPC encourages you to attend.

The DPC provides a truly unique opportunity for the parents, staff, teachers, students leadership of the Boulder Valley School District to exchange and share ideas and views in professional and open setting.

The meetings are normally held the third Wednesday night of every school month at 6:30 p.m. in the Aspen Room located at 6500 Arapahoe, Boulder, CO 80303. Meeting minutes are available at the Boulder Valley School District- District Parent Council.

Meeting topics for the 2012-2013 school year:
  • October 17. 
  • September 12 (2nd Wednesday).  This meeting will cover budget updates, the teacher selection process and any other topics members would like to discuss.
