Birch Elementary provides a myriad of enriching before after school opportunities. These may include Art Club, Bulldog Choir, Birchoir, PAWS Players, Writing Club, and more! Look for more information about these activities in the eBark and student handbook.
- Art Club
- Birchoir is open to all 4th and 5th
grade students of Birch. Rehearsals are after school (2:35-3:45) on Tuesdays
and Wednesdays. First rehearsal will be Tuesday, September 11th in Mrs.
Hohensee's room. Students may begin signing up the first day of school, August
15th and the last day to sign up is Thursday, August 30th. Info packets and
permission forms will be emailed or sent home with students on September 7th.
This year's show is titled: "Happy The High-Tech Snowman". For more
information about the show, please read the choir flyer that is in your child's
August 17th Friday Folder.
- Bulldog Choir- Bulldog Choir is open to all 2nd and
3rd grade students of Birch. Rehearsals are Tuesdays and Wednesdays after
school (2:35-3:30) in Mrs. Hohensee's room. Their show is titled: Sing Me a
Story - Classic Stories Throughout Time Come to Life in Song and Rhyme. Rehearsals
will begin JANUARY 2013. More information will be forthcoming in December.
- PAWS Players
- Birch Writing Club. The Birch Writing Club offers students in 3rd through 5th grade an opportunity to write for fun. Birch Writing Club members write poems, stories, essays and more. The Club plays games, eats and has fun! The Writing Club meets twice a month on Wednesday mornings. The first meeting is Wednesday, September 22, 7:45 a.m.-8:15 a.m. in the Library.
