The Birch Educational Support Team is a dedicated group of parents, staff, and community members striving to support Birch Elementary students and staff through engagement in school goals and the School Improvement Plan. Founded in 2010, the Birch Educational Support Team provides assistance to teachers in the classroom, raises funds for the supplemental educational materials and cultural experiences, supports school and family social interactions, and facilitates a non-biased forum for sharing information on issues that impact our children.
Birch Educational Support Team’s objective is to develop a strong working relationship between educators and the general public in order to provide every child with the best possible advantages in physical, social, emotional and academic education.
The best way to get involved in the Birch Educational Support Team is to join a meeting — find those dates in the Birch Master Google Calendar, available on the CALENDAR page and also in the right sidebar of this page. B.E.S.T. normally meets on the third Thursday of each month in the Birch Elementary library. Meetings begin at 6 p.m. and typically end by 7:30 p.m. Attending a B.E.S.T. meeting is a great way to learn more about your school, and free childcare is provided.
